The Alalëa team consists of professionals from various disciplines with deep technical expertise focused on carbon management and decarbonization. Our approach, which combines academic background with field experience, aims to transform organizations' climate transformation beyond just "reporting" level into a measurable, verifiable and actionable transformation program. In this context, we provide support in areas such as Scope 1-2-3 emissions inventory, data collection and verification processes, SBTi-compliant target architecture, reduction roadmap and CBAM/ETS preparation.
Our holistic perspective integrates decarbonization strategy with emissions inventories, SBTi target architecture, CBAM/ETS readiness, CDP climate disclosure and carbon markets. Climate risk and opportunity assessments, value chain emissions analysis and supplier data work are common components of our carbon-focused programs.

About the Founder: Göker Avcı
Göker Avcı is an international climate entrepreneur with ventures based in San Francisco and Turkey. Specializing in decarbonization, carbon markets, and engineering-based carbon dioxide removal (CDR), Avcı plays an active role in international collaborations on carbon removal projects across different geographies and contributes to the adoption of corporate carbon strategies through his work on global carbon platforms. He is also among the first 45 "SBTi Certified Experts" in the world.
Avcı's focus is on transforming companies' decarbonization from a "commitment and reporting" level into a measurable transformation program. In this context, he provides support in areas such as Scope 1-2-3 inventory setup, supply chain data structuring, SBTi-compliant target architecture, reduction roadmap, and CBAM/ETS preparation. On the carbon markets side, he guides organizations in areas such as credit quality and due diligence (additionality, permanence, leakage), portfolio strategy, procurement processes, pricing, and communication frameworks.
